what is a 501st TAG group?

Sorry let me explain further. The "501st" is a Star Wars fandom thing that goes back many years. Basically they are an organised group that in the good old days, as I understand it, used to provide semi-official "security" at conventions and the like (obviously in unitofm!) and the whole thing grew into them doing charity events, raising money, visiting idiots like me in hospital and so on. The TAG stands for "Terror Australas Group" and they have a website: http://501tag.com/newlowsite/home.html

More info on the 501st in general: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/501st_Legion

Rerun: classic!! too funny  :rofl;

Chewie was behind the camera but don't tell her I said that - she will needle me on Saturday!!  :rofl;

No Natalie Portman for you. She suckered Anikan into doing things he should not have done. Do you want to be led down the primrose paths?

Oh kitkatz honey I'm already there - I'm on dialysis aren't I?  :rofl;

Actually a slight funny related to the visit above (and I hope YOU liked the pic KK - it's mostly posted with you in mind! :) ) is that one of the troopers looked at the machine and asked me if there was a bit of R2 in it. I had to laugh thinking about when those suckers alarm it could be R2 going haywire.. indeed that would be quite a funny sound to have coming from the machine rather than the standard alarm! LOL.. So I told him "for sure.. this sucker is a direct cousin!" he he

love - Love - LOVE that picture!!!

I can't imagine what it must have been like to see a crowd of Storm troopers marching toward me during dialysis.   I'd probably think I had crashed, and they weren't actually there.

Well I wasn't actually totally surprised. One of the unit nurses is a member and he kept asking me for a few weeks beforehand "You're not going to change your shift on Saturday are you??" so it was obvious something was in the works.. and given he loves talking Star Wars with me I had a fair idea... but I did not forsee the entire garison appearing!!! It was pretty funny and certainly made for a different afternoon in dullsville!!!  :rofl;
