Actually it happened to me last month in the US (now that I am thinking about it)  They were trying to squeeze me in for a fistula revision because that spot blew.  I waited all day and then they came in and said the surgeon had been up all night and all day and was wiped out.  I came back the next day and we decided it may heal on its own which it didn't so we did it the next week when I had a slot all my own.

They need to "revise" your fistula.  They already "revised" my PD catheter.  Is "revise" some kind of obscure medical term for "screwed up in the first place?"

Hope you get what you need soon!

A bed allocation manager???
What kind of job position is that, and wouldn't this person know how many beds he has to allocate at any given time.  I assume that is all he does :waiting;

And Peleroja i think you hit the meaning of revised 100%..

Good luck Ang,  hopefully the bed allocator will save you a spot in the near future.
isnt it fun siting at a hospital half the day :thumbdown;

I am not saying to screw you ---- I am saying to screw Ang's hospital -- he is my friend and he has had so many problems -- and I mean it in a screaming voice -- Ang deserves a break - he has been sick since childhood -- and I do not want to hear about my friend being treated in such a way --- so there!
SCREW THEM ---- see I am still upset

There is this one moderator that I'm afraid of.  But I won't tell which one it is.

Ang,  This is just ridiculous. I am sorry they did this to you.  Somehow, they all forget we have real lives and things to do that have nothing to do with kidneys!   Hope it all gets resolved soon.

And Dan, when you meet everyone in Vegas, you will find sweet, kind, loving people and you will wonder what you were ever afraid of!
(except for me, and I can be a real b****   :rofl; )
