Well Monday is here.

We dont agree much about politics but i look up to you for good answers and advice in regards to anything dialysis.  You go above and beyond what the average person on dialysis does.  I even go to your website  :o..
Get well and stay well so you can do what you do so well.  Advocate for so many people on dialysis.

Surgeon says all went as expected. Kidney removed lapriscopicaly (sp?). Bill is in recovery room for another hour or so. All good. Yeah! ...38 minutes ago from web

Today's news!

I went for short walk and am now sitting up waiting for some orange jello and apple juice to be delivered. Pretty sore but not too bad ...27 minutes ago from web

I have a great view from the 11th floor looking east. I can see the new Seattle Kidney Center and can glimpse lake WA in a couple places ...24 minutes ago from web

my bowels haven't "woken up" so it looks like I'll be here through tomorrow and I'll have to dialyze inpatient

all they wanted me to do was fart but the one time I want to I can't

and they won't let me have any beans

kinda a let down but I probably wasn't being realistic

Uninterrupted in-center (self-care) hemodialysis since 1982 -- 34 YEARS on March 3, 2016 !!

Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.
