Just before I got home from school yesterday afternoon hubby took a fall. he was doing some work on our boat in our driveway.  He was coming down the ladder when the ladder slipped (of course he didn't have the ladder tied on duh) . The ladder fell to the ground and so did he.  he fell about 6 or 7 feet and landed on his right hip and he also hurt his neck. he managed to pick himself him and rive to the school to pick me up. i took him to the hospital (after a lot of trying to persuade him). Nothing is broken . he is very sore and stiff this morning. I had to help him undress last night and dress this morning.  He is sitting on an icepack now!!!  When he moves he get a burning pain in his hip but that is from the muscles. He's lucky he didn't do any more damage!!!  Bad thing is its a beautiful , long weekend and he can't do anything!!!

His biggest issue right now is my birthday is tomorrow and he doesn't have a birthday card for me!!  As if I care LOL as long as he is ok!! I think my birthday gift is downstairs.  I think he bought something weeks ago.  :beer1;

He is fine as long as he is sitting but when he gets up to walk his hip hurts a lot.  His neck is not as bad this afternoon.
