I'd take a Duncan Donut if anybody wants to bring me one... or two or more.

I love Dunkin Donuts when they are fresh! Donuts are definitely my weak spot.

DW, we need donuts.

Anybody ever had beignets from Cafe de Monde?   Did it get blown away with Katrina?

I have had the beignets. Cafe de Monde did not fly away. It is still there. Love the ice coffee! It was a nice summer treat last summer when we visited New Orleans.

I haven't been since Katrina.   Was afraid it would just be too depressing....I bought the mix and tried to make them but not so good.  I've been to local beignet restaurants, but not so do...those were a little slice of heaven

Visited New Orleans after Katrina and was tickled pink to see the French Quarter standing in all it's glory.  One of my favorite places on earth.

Those beignets are a little bit of heaven on earth!  Powered sugar everywhere!

hehe.
Breakfast:  Slice of low sodium turkey bacon (commonly called seasoned cardboard) on a slice Of toast with slick of tomatoes (good potassium).
Lunch:  Another slice of aforementioned bacon and a peach.
Dinner:  Open for suggestions

Not a bad idea.  I'll see if I have the ingredients.  Can't go to the store because it is about to rain any minute.  Rainy Day and Zach's Chili.  Can't beat that!

Twirl, when in high school some guys went to James downtown for a contest as to who could eat the most conies.  I did 13 and did not even win.  Maybe that's why I'm not hungry now...  I didn't know they served chili with spagetti.  I'll try it some day.  I've made Zach's two time already but don't actually have everything I need for tonight.  Unless Zach will stop by with the rest of the ingredients.......

Yeat Rockets.  Who wouldn't have thought it.  Hold your breath.
