Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #4 on: May 16, 2009, 07:08:27 AM »

I intend to enjoy it while I can.  Mexican Food tonight.  Grilled Cheese for lunch.  Had turkey bacon and 2 scrambled eggs with cheese this morning.  Yuk, I don't want any more food.

There were not many people at dialysis last night.  Wonder what happend.  Usually there is a parking lot full of ambulances.  Only one last night.  Usually they bring in ten or more people on stretchers, none last night.  And only 3 techs in my bay and one left early.  They  didn't test temperature which they normally do two times, nor blood sugar and they took me off machine ten minuutes early because it was clotting.  They didn't flush all the blood back in me either.  They were arguing about who did and who was supposed to put in "some chemical" which prevents clotting.  Seems like no one dick it.  They kept talking about help in "the back" getting laid off and they had too much work.  What  is happening?  Oh, I feel alright today though.  Maybe because of the diet Dr. Pepper, the huge cheese burger and snicker bar????

I don't think so.  The dietician gave me a copy of the labs and explained it all.  I trust her.

Do you think they are killing off all the clients?  None of my regulars were there during this episode.  I'll talk to them all on Monday.  I got the impression they were all afraid of being laid off.

If I get Haagen Daas it'll be Run Raisin.  So good and so sexy.

I'm going to the grocery store now.  Hope I don't get carried away.  Gotta come back tonight and check out the chat.

Richard, I've been on a low protein diet for so long I just have trouble eating much meat.  She always suggest beans.  Mexican food Sunday here I come.

I love cherry limeade!  I love all of Sonic's cold drinks  (half price from 2-4!)

DW,  I want real ice cream --- no low fat, sugar free  just lovely good ice cream.   I love butterscotch --what does Blue Bell make with butterscotch in it?

I have never seen Butterscotch Blue Bell - actually - I have never seen it all
Sonic ice is so good -
and great to eat when on dialysis with fluid restrictions -
the ice is small and crunchy and doesn't melt all that fast -
their dollar value hamburgers are the best -
sonic unsweet ice tea with lemon --- good

oh, crawford -- I am living vicariously in you --- a Sonic coke with an order of fried pickles and a dollar menu hamburger --

G-ma, Krispy Kreme is a couple miles down the road from me.  That "hot" sign is like a beacon to doughnut lovers.  A fresh, still warm Krispy Kreme melts in your mouth.   You are all making me hungry and thirsty!

How is all of hunger cravings helping DW??   :rofl;
