Yup, my new PD catheter which hasn't been working has turned up a "kink" problem, so back to surgery tomorrow to fix it.  Drat, another IV, and I was just beginning to heal from the last one!  The things I endure just to get back on PD!!!!!

G-Ma, I just knew someone would pick up on the word "kink."  Anyhoo, doc called me this morning and we're gonna (hopefully) fix it tomorrow first thing.  They will also dialyze me since I'm already there.  He also wants me to start PD immediately since the catheter has been sitting inside me not swimming in dialysate as it should be.  I sure had to wrap my head around all that pretty fast.  I usually like to build up to something like surgery, as in saying ommmmmmmmmm several times a day or something sort of meditative.  I was just lucky my friend will be able to take me.  We also went out for dinner tonight (did the condemned just have her last meal?).  NPO for surgery and nothing but liquid and Jello tomorrow.  Am I ever gonna get to ride my bike again?????
