What an amazing race that was!  I always love the Derby, but this year was just incredible.   50 to 1 odds!   It was beutiful to watch.

Wow.... that was fun...   This was my dad's favorite thing in the world.  I always toast him with a shot of bourbon.  Couldn't do the whole shot tonight but took a sip.

I think the Preakness will be even more fun, with both Mine That Bird and the great filly in the
race. Borel thinks the filly is better. We will see.

Wasn't that exciting..?  There was so much hype that I figured there would be another surprise.  Can a jockey without a specific horse win the Triple Crown?   lol

Waht an opportunity missed.  Rachel's original owners didn't run her in the Derby because they don't like fillies racing colts.   They sold her after the Derby though, to someone who isn't as sexist.

She won the Kentucky Oaks by 20 freakin lengths, though.

We'll esee if she and Morel can hold up in the Belmont, though.

Part of it was the pressure from last year's tragedy.

Guess what?  Rachel is not running in the Belmont.  That little jockey is going to ride Mine that Bird again.  That's be weird if they win...

Who? Rachael?  Go ask him why she's not going to the Belmont?  Something's up!
