I agree, I just have issues with a team supporting a player who was "accused" as you put it.  Like I said its just me.

How would you put it?

I would say by the fact that he payed her off and a few weeks after bought his wife a nice pretty big ring. That he pretty much did it.

This is how I would put it: I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out!!!  :boxing;

Jeez louise folks, give me basketball anyday!

We just went out and scoped out the neighborhood sports bars looking for the ideal place to watch tomorrowś game. The one we picked says "Magic" on its marquee. We'll be dressed in purple and yellow tomorrow night... it could get interesting.

That is how my dad put it many years ago when we went to our first and only hockey game. I wanted to stay, but he didn't want to stay. Turns out we should have stayed instead of sitting in the parking lot for over 2 hours because we were boxed in.

Is the Magic from Orlando or did they move the franchise the last time I kept track of basketball years ago.

It was a sad night for us on Friday, but you gotta hand it to those Penguins - they sure did earn the cup!!  I still love my Wings, and although it was a disappointing night, it was one heck of a season!!  We sure did enjoy the run.  The Penguins wanted it more.  I don't think it was right that Crosby didn't do the handshaking with his team.  That was poor sportsmanship and I lost some respect for him.  For his teammates, I gained respect.  Good job Penguins!!  How about next year, we try a 2 out of 3?

Well said cherpep.

it isnt like making it to the finals two years in a row is easy.  Then again both teams did it huh :waiting;...

I didnt see Crosby not shake hands but tuned out after time expired.  Plus you guys rocked his boat pretty good.  Was a great series and a good way to end the year even without the cup.  I thought they may tie it at the end there, the last puck drop with seconds to go.

Looking for my broadstreet bullies to rebuild and come back strong next year.

To the pen fans  :2thumbsup; :clap;  Good season..

I'm not sure who Sid Crosby is, but here's Cindy Crosby.

(I apologize if this offends someone, it truly is just intended to be all in good fun)

I still don't know why when sport franchises change cities they don't change their names to
something more appropriate to the new city. When the New Orleans Jazz moved to Salt Lake City
they should have become the Saints in honor of the Latter Day Saints. Then when the Hornets moved
to New Orleans they could have become the Jazz. I am still looking for suggestions on what the
Minneapolis Lakers should have become when they moved to L.A.  Please don't beat me up too much
with the names, please, please.

2 million dollars for the mess with the Laker Championship celebration! Can we let it go? It is after all JUST a basketball GAME!

Just glad I don't live in te city where that might happen. Would hate to have my car vandalized over something stupid. It is not like Lakers have never won before either. Geez, imagine if the Cubs ever won the World Series, all the village idiots will be out in force that night and the day of the celebration.
