The air is turning a little warmer.  The calendar pages have flipped to April.  That can only mean one thing - IT'S HOCKEY PLAYOFF TIME!!!!  It's the best time of the year!!  Anyone with me? Pucks have dropped on all the first round games and the games have been great!!

Anyone out there think they can take the cup away from my Red Wings?  We looked great last night, the game was an exciting one to watch.  My apologies go right away to any Columbus Blue Jackets, not for anything in particular - just my apologies, LOL!  RenalRomance - what happened to your Sharks?  You gonna let those Ducks do that to a Shark?  paul.karen - uhoh..... Penguins were flying more than your Flyers.   Paris, your Canes better get busy.

It's hockey playoff time again!!!  GO WINGS!

 :rofl;

Your right about a couple of things.

it will be VERY HARD to take the cup from the Wings.
And the Flyer's look asleep slow off the puck no control no defense no good checking or boarding.

But  :2thumbsup; It is playoff time and anything can happen.

yes I am here with you.  thx for making a post for the playoffs

My family back in Columbus are huge Blue Jacket fans.  Have had season tickets since they got the franchise.  We, in Raleigh, love our Hurricanes!   Please don't let the Jackets go far in the playoffs!   :thumbdown;   Lived in St Louis for years and was always a Blues fan, but they never won the Cup!  Now the Canes, they already have brought the Cup to Raleigh! You got to love hockey players.  They give so much back to the community and are so normal.  My daughter is good friends with Rod Brin'amours wife. I have known Ray Whitney's family since they moved here  They are all very much a part of the everyday life in Raleigh.    You can only imagine how excited we were when they brought hockey to the South!!   I love a good game--so it will be fun to see who wins this year.   :2thumbsup;

'Canes lost in overtime last night.   I still love them!   If we don't go all the way, I will help cheer for the Wings.  Although I can't tell anyone in my family!!

The Hurricanes did it in the last second--literally!  So, another win for us  ---   :yahoo;  It was a good game, but thought they might lose it at one point.  They like to keep us on the edge of our seats!!      Blue Jackets lost.  My husband is on the phone talking with his brother in Columbus -- they were at the game.  Sorry Blue Jackets!

What the &%@# is up with the flyers.  Every year they barley get into the playoffs then CHOKE.  Makes me almost wish they hadnt made it this far.

I will have to jump on a bandwagon soon :-(
To those of you with winning teams   :2thumbsup;  so much more fun to watch them games.

Come on over to Michigan, Paul!  I've got the Red Wings on a very large screeen, and a recliner with your name on it.  I even have few extra RedWing jerseys that we hand out to guests.   NxStage on tap!

 :rofl; NxStage on tap  LOL.
I have the recliner and 61" tv already.  And i have always liked The wings. (glady take a jersey)  And colorado and St. Louis.

I may go with the Devils.  This way if they and the wings meet up we can have a fun rivalry.

Whew!!!  Wings made that last game a nail-biter!!!  The good news is that they helped raise my blood pressure during dialysis, LOL.  My regrets to your family, paris, but the Red Wings advance to the second round on the heels of a 6-5 game.  Too close for my comfort, but I'll take it.

My husband has his Hurricanes sleep pants on, nachos to snack on and sitting in front of his big tv--so 'Canes you need to play good tonight!!   Columbus relatives don't want to talk hockey with us right now. Oh well!  Goooooo Canes!!

The Devils are tough with Brodeur in net & the Bruins are strong, so it's gonna be tough for my Rangers to come out of the east, but hopefully they win tonight against the Caps and move on to play Boston.

If the Rangers don't win it all, then I hope it's the Red Wings...as long as the Devils, Flyers, or Bruins don't win it all, I will be ok.

Another loss for the 'Canes.  My husbands lucky Hurricane sleep pants didn't work last night.   I am not a fair weather fan--I love them win or lose.

Brodeur is amazing.  There were so many shots on goal and he did a fantastic job.

Wow, paris - your Canes are still in it.  That was an amazing goal - right at the buzzer.   Are you ready for game 7?

Paul - too bad your guys couldn't take out the Penguins.  They gave it a good shot, though.  Are you ready to put on that Red Wing jersey?
