love from annabanana

I've been thinking a lot about all of you. There was a bad tornado where I live last Friday. I saw it coming out of the sky. It hit a block away from me and destroyed everything in sight. I have been thinking constantly about the people I love and the things in life that are important. I just want to tell all of you that I love you and I wish you the very very best in life.

That was too close and I'm sure very frightening. I'm glad you were safe. Hugs and prayers.

Oh Anne, that sounds just terrible. I hadn't heard anything about the tornados.

So nice to hear from you Anna and I hope you were completely untouched by the tornado. A block away is close though so it's distressing if your neighbours were affected.

The tornado hit in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where I live. It was an F4 tornado and many people were deeply affected, over 200 homes totally destroyed, and a good friend of mine lost his goddaughter and her mother...the only 2 people who were killed. My family and I were not touched by it at all, except for the shock of seeing our city destroyed like a war zone.
I was actually working on a rental house when the tornado hit a block away. When I tried to leave the neighborhood I couldn't get out because of downed power lines and debris from houses. There was a semi truck overturned on the interstate 2 blocks away. The tornado went for over 20 miles through the county. Terrible. It's a miracle that more people weren't killed.
My son and I are doing very, very well. Haven't heard from Randy, though. A mutual friend told me he was doing well since he's been on dialysis. Apparently he has a big garden at his sister's house, which is what he needs. Sometimes I wish he and I could talk but I doubt that will happen. He's still drinking beer, just not a whole lot anymore.
Much love to everyone!
I'm glad to hear from you all. I'll log on more often...gotta keep check on RichardMEL's harem...I mean "group"....
