Well tonight I stopped by the new L&L Hawaiian barbecue and picked up the family pack.  Thats barbecued beef, barbecued chicken, chicken katsu, a ton of rice, and a half ton of macaroni salad.  Its sitting in the oven right now keeping warm and making the house smell like...Hawaiian barbecue...mmmm.

I came home from dialysis and fell asleep for 3 hours.  When I woke up I was starving.  I went to the Truck Stop Restaurant and had their Taco Salad.  Not really a renal meal, but it was so good.  Then I got a piece of berry pie to go home.  YUM

chicken on the BBQ grill-the grill gives alot of flavor-we have pork ribs and chicken at least once a week-side-dishes are a problem for me-usually its a small salad and Italian bread w no salt butter

A new drink called, Muscle Milk -- 32 grams of protein.  I have it while I'm on dialysis.
And yes, I took my binders.     ;)

Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.

I use the pre-mixed bottle from the local deli.  Just make sure it's not the chocolate flavor, because it's too high in potassium.  Most other flavors are:  about 330 Potassium and 334mg Phosphorus.  About three PhosLos.    ;)

Cytosport has some good stuff.  :thumbup; Recent addition of powders to my use is their Cytosport Complete Whey Protein 10lb tub.

I had chicken stirfry with water chestnuts, snowpeas, and chicken marinated in teriyaki sauce.  For a side we had rice.  Yum.  Maybe a little bland for some.. but that's the way I like it.
