Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: April 14, 2009, 05:59:36 AM »

My phone rings at 5:30 this morning... I'm thinking "who the HELL is that", so I don't answer.  It rings again so I think "I'd better get that".

It was our Twirl-Girl and she has been in the hospital since Friday night.  She has congestive heart failure due to a gradual fluid overload because the Idiots at dialysis didn't challenge her dry weight!  She kept complaining of her ankles being more puffy when she left then before she came in.  When she left each time her blood pressure was high.  She had shortness of breath.  GEE!  Ya Think??  I wish I lived closer so I could have a chat with those people
                                                :Kit n Stik;

Twirl said to tell Mike###, Ang, and (oh Shit.... someone else) hello and not to worry about her.

They have dialyzed her again on Saturday and got 3 kilos and again yesterday and got 3 kilos.  And that is after being in the hospital where they probably don't let her drink an ounce!

She said I could come on IHD and tell you guys, so she will look here!

Hope you feel better Twirl !!!                :waving;

Oh, yeah, I forgot to say that her Doctor is really "pissed" that she got this bad.  I'm sure he will kick some butts.

Twirl, or any of Twirl's friend, let me know if there is anything I can do to.  I'm right here in Bellaire (just a few minutes away).  I'm in the phone book.  You can guess my name by my member name.  Or my email is in the profile.

Twirl, get well.  We need you.

I hated reading this post but I'm glad to know where Twirl is and that she'll be OK.  What a bunch of idiotic techs and I too hope that Twirl's doc has some harsh words for the clinic.

Thanks Rerun for answering the early phone call and then filling us all in.
