I just got a call today that my pastor has gone in to the hospital with four blocked arteries, and he's having emergency quadruple bypass surgery. He wasn't at Wednesday service yesterday because he wasn't feeling well, but we had no idea it was this serious. So, please pray for him, his family, and our church.

Adam, I'm thinking of and praying for this gentleman... On the plus side, he's got a better line to the man upstairs than most of us!...

Well done to you for bringing it to our attention... That's the beauty of prayer... It can't hurt!...

May God bless and protect you, yours, your pastor, and the rest of the congregation... It's such a loss to be without a beloved clergyman even if just for a short time...

Like Rose, I'd appreciate it if you could keep us informed...

God bless...

Praying for Pastor Paul this evening.. (It's 10.40pm in Ireland)... I've also lit a candle for him, and if anybody else can do likewise over the next day or two, it would be nice... If we could agree a time that we all light a candle and pray for a couple of minutes, maybe the power of our collective thoughts and prayers will help Paul...

If somebody can suggest a time???... I know it's different times in different members countries, but we can give it a go anyway... Can't hurt... I'm easy in relation to the time... I'm usually up a few times during the night checking on Mum anyway, so I can fit in with other people's suggestions...

Just a thought... Will anybody be joining me???....

Love to all...

Again, thanks for the support and prayers. I got an update last night that Pastor Paul came through surgery and it was very successful. The last I heard, he was still under some sedation, but they will be gradually easing that. If all goes well, we should be able to visit him Monday or Tuesday, and they are saying he may be able to go home in just a week if he continues to do well. We are praising God for this positive news. I'll continue to post updates.

Pastor Paul got to go home yesterday morning. He's doing well, even though he still has quite a bit of pain. He will have a six to eight week recovery period, but the doctors expect him to recover completely. They were expecting to have to put in a pacemaker, but fortunately he didn't need one. So, it looks like everything is going to go well for him.
