I missed that post, Aleta...  When I admited to turning 65 my property taxes were reduced and frozen...  So let 'em build and raise the value.  Someday, if I live long enough, I'll let' em have it.

My positive:
The new chassis for PureFlow was delivered in ONE PIECE!  :cheer: :cheer:

Now we just have to get the broken one dismantled and set up the new one!

I have Easter lilies blooming in my front yard.  I put them in last year, and they came up beautifully and have about 12 blooms.  Always fun when something new comes up and blooms.   :flower;

I watered all my flowers and hanging baskets today in preparation for our being gone this coming week. I will keep my fingers crossed that we have some rain and it isn't too hot while we are gone.

I love flowers, too, Paris. My window boxes look better than they have in years. I mixed purple verbena, pink impatiens and white begonias. It's a pretty mix. In my hanging baskets I put lantanas and pink petunias.

While we were eating lunch today a hummer came up to the feeder. I've seen them around the flowers, but this was my first feeder sighting. I could sit for hours watching the birds.

My  grandson, Zeke, just called to tell me that they are on their way to Disney World.  When his Mommy, Melissa, got married in March, they decided to forgo a honeymoon and take all four kids on a Familymoon.  Zeke was so excited, he couldn't talk fast enough.  He wanted to tell me everything they were going to see and do.  And "I miss you Nana, but I will be back next week".   I want a new kidney so I can keep up with him!   :2thumbsup;

Paris....I have grandbabies AND a new kidney.....it didnt make me any faster....I still cannot keep up!  BUT...I have more stamina to follow along behind them and make them THINK I am keeping up!   :rofl;

This is the first time he has gone to Disney without Beth and me.  Not that we wanted to go on the familymoon!  But, he thinks we should be going too.  He told me he will call me while they are waiting in lines!   :rofl;

I got new carpet today (and yesterday and tomorrow).  Yay.  Warm.

By Jan 2008 was in end stage renal failure and on haemodialysis.
Changed to CAPD in April 2008.  Now on PD with a cycler.  Working very part time - teaching music.  Love it.  Husband is Paul (we're both 46), daughter Molly is 13.

About 16 years ago hubby planted an apple seed from an apple that he ate. the tree has grown and grown but never bloomed.  Today we noticed nice red blooms on it!!!!  I sure hope we get at least one apple on it!!

My GP took a look at my labs and told me that I only need Aranesp shots once a month, rather than twice a month. This saves me both money and pain!  :bandance;
