Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #9 on: March 17, 2009, 08:43:05 PM »

Hi Javier, I couldn't resist welcoming you even though I'm a new old man here trying to prepare myself for dialysis.  It's just that I have an adopted son (well  not legally) named Javier who is 29.  And once upon a time I lived in TN.  My Javier, his wife and daught, has gone back to Honduras.  It makes me sad.

As I  said, at 68 years old I'm trying to  prepare emotionally for dialysis and I read posts from courageous young people like  yourself.  It is all so inspiring...

I hope to see you around the site.  I don't know enough to post but I read most of the threads.  I'm sure you will be a great contributor.

Come to think of it, nothing is funny anymore.

Nothing that I post here is intended for fact but rather for exploration into my personal thought processes.  Any slight, use of words with multiple connotations or other percieved insults are totally unintended.  I reserve my insults for private.

 :welcomesign; Javier.  We are very glad you joined this great group.  There are some here your age and many members who do PD.  There is so much information here and tons of support.  We help each other through tough times and make each other laugh.  I hope you post often and share more of your story with us.   :grouphug;
