1. I loved the day i bought my boat
2. I loved the day i sold my boat even more
3. I know some good card tricks
4. Im tired of paying so much to take care of Feral cats (but we love them)
5. I was very lucky to find the love of my life
6. other then my four brothers i have disowned the rest of my extended family (maybe they disowned me)
7. I plan on retiring in Washington state.
8. I play pick six the same numbers all the time.  Im afraid to stop playing them (they will come up if i do)
9. I love kids but never wanted any.  But there are plenty i can borrow if i want to go to certain movies :-)
10.  I am glad i found this website.   And if i offend anyone here it isnt on purpose.

1. my Uncle Charlie was a famous Texas Ranger
2. my twin is thin  >:(
3. I declined to be teacher of the year twice --- every teacher should be teacher of the year
4. I had a dysfunctional childhood
5. I was a virgin when I got married --- bad pedophile experience as a child
6. I beat out 30 twirlers for a high school spot
7. I had heart surgery as a child
8. It took me 10 years of marriage to have children --- fertility problems
9. I made all F's in conduct until the 7th grade --- talked alot --- never did the crap done today in the classroom
10.none of my elementary teachers would have thought I'd get scholarships

why would anything you wrote offend anyone? did you read my stuff?

1.  I don't own any pets but I love animals.
2.  I was a very fat kid but changed my eating habits for good at 16.
3.  I have some of the strongest willpower in the world for things I decide to do.
4.  I had an alcoholic father, who was tortured by the fact of being gay, (his being gay wasn't difficult for me but the alcoholism was a major burden and made me grow up too fast) but my family in general is terrific and           
    very supportive.
5.  If I had a lot of money I'd be a serious art collector and philanthropist.
6.  I was always considered very smart by everyone except myself since I'm always acutely aware of how little I know relative to the general body of knowledge. 
7.  I like almost every food I try and have no limits (other than ethics) on what I'll eat.
8.  I take full and complete responsibility for my health and feel lucky to have lived this long.
9.  I have little patience for people who pursue superficiality with a passion.
10.I try hard to respect the environment although sometimes I want to do what's easy instead of what's right.

1. I have 9 siblings (all from the same Mom & Dad)
2. I've loved my husband for 29 years (I hope it continues to last)
3. My two children are both finally 18 and over.
4. I like history and archaeology.
5. I have travelled far and wide.
6. I've been on disability for renal failure for 3 years and I'm so bored.
7. You are the only one's who are aware of the extent of my pain due to renal failure.
8. When I was eight, the neighbor boy made me perfume from rose petals.
9. I used to sneak out at night when I was a teen (and my parents never knew).
10.I have many female friends, but no best friends other than my husband.

1. With one exception, the "closest" friends throughout my lifetime have all been males (thank goodness, my husband Marvin doesn't see this as strange).
2. My mom had all three of her children (all single births)  within 26 months -- I'm the youngest.
3. I'm much closer to my dad than my mom.  (don't know why -- love them both immensely -- Daddy just seems to understand me better)
4. I don't like -- and won't eat -- beans or peas of any kind.
5. When I was a kid and teenager, I wanted to join the Marines.
6. I think my dog Hop-Sing has a soul and will be with me in the afterlife.
7. I don't enjoy watching television.
8. When I retire from teaching (9 years from now), I want to go back to school to be a nurse (Yes, a dialysis nurse).
9. I would love to own a RV and travel around the country with Marvin and Hop-Sing (and Marvin's NxStage machine, of course).
10. I can type 100 words per minute (with no errors).

Oh gosh, 10 things.....

1.  I still have the last PM that Epoman and Goffynina sent to me.
2.  I was the youngest of 5.
3.  Both my parents are gone and I miss Mom.
4.  My Dad taught me Piglatin.  I guess I miss him too.
5.  I had a horse named McKeya for 16 years.
6.  I wish I was normal and healthy.
7.  I survived an airplane crash.
8.  I'm divorced.
9.  I drive a Honda Accord with Navi.
10. I use to drive a '68 Mustang.

Well, this could be interesting---

1. I love vanilla ice cream with butterscotch topping
2. I love the sound of a train whistle----always sounds mysteirous
3. I call my grandchildren "Nana's angels"
4. I married my high school sweetheart
5. My passion was theater and wanted to spend my life acting  I enjoyed it for awhile. Now I go to every play I can.
6. I love to design and sew formal gowns  -- use to make custom wedding dresses
7. I swam with sea turtles in a small little reef for over an hour. I just kept following them around and it was amazing.
8.I am most proud of the incredible chilldren that I had the priviledge to raise. 
9. we were adopting a baby from Vietnam, and then the last planes left and our baby didn't come to America.  It has always left a hole in my heart.
10.At times,I can be very insecure (I  am continually working on this!)

Hmmmm

1. I like cars of various types and years
2. I love driving fast, especially on the highway (especially I355 N-S Route  ;D)
3. I passed up owning a F150 Lightning Muscle Truck with super charged V-8 by $100
4. I wanted a large family as a kid so we could have tv like christmas
5. I have no relatives in my state (thank goodness)
6. Got busted by cops as a teen for car surfering with a girl
7. Got 4 speeding tickets within 2 months and got off them all (clocked at 87 on one) shortly after graduating  high school
8. I walked of one job after working 4 hours
9. Drove off with parents car at 3 (didn't get to far  :rofl;)
10. Use to sneak one of the parents cars out for a joy ride as they slept

What can I say except I like driving. ;D

Neuropathy in legs age 10

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012
Eye Surgery - Nov 2012
Lifes Adventures -  Priceless

Ok, I am still new to this site so this will be easy.

1.  I wish I would have found this site sooner for all those sleepless nights.
2.  After working for the same company for 15 years, I bought it.
3.  I have a wife of 21 years and she is a nurse (best canulator on the planet).
4.  I have two kids, 17 yr old boy 6' 4" – 13 yr old daughter 5' 11".
5.  I drive a 4 door Jeep. My kids complained the smaller Jeep had no room.
6.  I almost have my NxStage hooked up to that Jeep.
7.  My NxStage runs fine on my generator.
8.  I have my 4x4 tent trailer set up to do dialysis in.
9.  I have been in Boy Scouts for 30+ years. This year’s summer camp I will have dialysis by the camp fire.
10. If you can’t tell, I love the outdoors and can’t stand being in this chair because “I hate dialysis”.

I am finding it hard to find 10 things you don't know about me - my life is an open book here at IHD!

1. Both my mother and daughter are named Aurora (as I am), but none of us has it as a first name.
2. I never learned to ride a bicycle.
3. I have skied in snow,  but never water-skied!
4. I am the last of 13 children (same mother and father), but there are only 5 of us now.
5. For a few exciting months some years ago, my daughter was a dolphin trainer.
6. The only meat in my freezer right now is tilapia (and some squid for fishing).
7. My favourite word processor is Word Perfect (but I use Microsoft Word more because more people use it)
8. I bought those grocery bags that are environmentally friendly, but never remember to take them when I go shopping!
9. I can say 'How are you?''I'm fine' in Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Italian, Maltese, Ibo, Yoruba, Creole, Dutch, Filipino, Hindi... oh yes, and in English!
10. I can't stand the sound of someone cracking their fingers (I'm better now than when I was younger - I would freak then!)

i am the oldest of 5 children.
i have 1 daughter & 1 grandaughter - my whole life
been at the same freight company for 28 years now - loyal.
live with 2 dogs, 1 cat and several fish
am a loner and can be moody
on the other extreme wild and outrageous
favourite subject - serial killers and the psychology of them.
love music & books
daughter is actress who also teaches performing arts.
my mum & dad are irish

hmmm let me think

1. I have a brother and sister (both older) with perfect kidneys -alas not for me (and I do not resent that! :) )
2. If I had to live in the USA I would live in Seattle or San Diego
3. I love the flavour Vanilla
4. I barrack for the Tigers in the "footy" (Australian Rules). My Cat barracks for, yes, The Cats. True story.
5. My Favourite classical music composer is Dmitri Shostakovich (and I have met his son! In Russia!! :) )
6. I have over 300,000 frequent flyer miles sitting around I can't use :( COME ON, TRANSPLANT!!!! :)
7. Is my favourite number
8. I am a big fan of Iron Chef!!! Allez Cuisine!

I would like to spend my retired life in a cabin on a lake

1. I am an only child.  (Would have loved an older brother)
2. I have 2 great sons (aged 25 and 23)
3. I never knew my paternal grand father, he died from cancer before I was born - the first girl in his family for generations.
4. I had a close loving relationship with my maternal grandma and I miss her
5. I married my first 'real' boyfriend and have never slept with another man (or woman in case you're wondering  :rofl;)
6. I was widowed at 46 after 25 years - That was 5 years ago and it doesn't get easier.
7. I love animals, specially cats and dogs - particularly Molly my springer
8. I'd like to visit Australia - I will one day!
9. I'd like to live by the sea but don't expect I ever will
10. I like to drive fast with the radio blaring out Queen songs - but only where it's safe!! Doing it wearing my purple boa (thanks again Petey) is extra good fun  :2thumbsup;

1.   I wanted to be a teacher when I was little.
2.   I wish I went to college and experienced everything associated with it.
3.   Rob is my 2nd husband.
4.   I am unable to have children and I don't think I will ever get over that.
5.   I have the same name and birthday as my Mother In-Law and it totally freaked both Rob and I out at first.
6.   I grew up with an alcoholic father who recovered and then my mother became an alcoholic.  I vowed never to let that happen to me.
7.   My soon to be adopted son is so much like me it's eerie. 
8.   I have had the same best friend since I was 5 years old, 33 years later we are still very close.
9.   I have seen every episode of ER since it started.
10.  My ex-husband's grandmother who I was close to came to me in dreams for a week.  Turns out she had died that week and I didn't know.  I had been separated/divorced from my ex-husband for 2 years and we never talked.  I didn't know she died in that week until 3 years later.

11/17/09 After 4 years on dialysis, Rob received a kidney from our George.  Kidney is working great!  YEAH!!!!

1. My Husband and I have been Married for 38 Years.
2. I have Five Grandchildren.
3.Was Born in Michigan and Lived there for 57 Years, with the Exception of One Year as a Child, when we Lived In Missouri.
4. When we Lived in Missouri, I went to a One Room School and was the only one in the Fourth Grade.
5. I Live in Tennessee. I Love it.
6. I don't know how to Swim.
7. I drove a School Bus for Ten years.
8. I only watch about Ten Hours of TV a Week.
9. My Husband and I Own a 1957 Triumph.
10. I did not know one thing about Renal Disease, till My Husband, got Ill.

2. I always wanted a large family, but I was only able to have one child
3. I play video games with my daughter - a lot
4. I am afraid of deep water but will swim in a pool where my feet touch the bottom

6. My younger sister is menally ill, and I think she has it much harder than I do.
7. I grew up one block away from Michelle Obama, and we went to the same high school
8. My husband is scared of blood ( no home hemo for me)
9. I love to do embroidery and cross stitch projects
10. I watch Ru Paul's Drag Race and love it!
