Hey Az chick —

I can't be republican because I live in the UK. But I'm a Thatcher fan. Is that good enough?

1 I believe in God ( although my faith has been tested many times )
 2 I'm a Northern Traditional Buckskin Dancer at Native American powwows.( If mom does NxStage,I'm trying to figure out how to take the machine to powwows,and figure out how to hear machine alarms over the drums) :sos;
3 Never been married, and likely not going to be.
4 I love books and knitting.
5 I'm the only member of my family of 4 ( dad,mom & brother )to ever be bitten by a snake.( Happened when I was under the age of ten )
6 Have been driving since I was 15 1/2 yrs.old and never had a speeding ticket until December 2008,and January 2009.( Had to pay both of them, >:( and take a defensive driving course).
7 Love my pets with all my heart ( had 3 dogs,1 was 15 when he died, after him was a little rat terrier and she died at the age of 11,her son lived to be 14 when he died in 2008 ). Now have 2 cats and 1 almost 10 month old puppy.

8 I Love different types of music from some Christian rock to oldies to heavy metal.
9 Have had my heart broken by every boyfriend I've ever had. They were ALL cheaters.
10 I hate it that my mom has kidney disease. But I'm here to be her support in any way I can.Even though my dad & brother don't seem to care about either one of us.

well I'm gonna start this back up again and bring it to the top :)
1: I'm fluent in English, Texan, Texican and also speak a little Spanglish, Spanish and German. I'm rather well versed in Redneck (the Texan helps with that)
2: I have a very thick Texas accent when I'm tired or excited, but can do a German. Australian and British accent (well the British one almost always morphs into an Aussie one)
3: I was on a team against my mom on the $50,000 Game Show when I was 7..and my team won. I got a phone that looked old timey, but had normal push buttons)
4: I was almost held back in the 2nd grade because I missed too many days of school. I had appendicitis (and surgery to have it removed), the flu, the chicken pox the size of quarters and both viruses that went around
5: I have a lead foot an like going fast :) as a result I've gotten two (almost 4) speeding tickets
6: I can change a tire, my own oil and I've personally replaced a starter in my car
7: I never drank when I was under age, never somked a cigarette or done any drugs was a virgin until just after my 24th birthday and I'm marrying the man I lost it to
8: I'm incredibly sarcasric and can't stand people who don't get it...they're my biggest pet peeve
9: I'm hungry right now
10: I would love nothing more than to be like a typical 24 year old, working at my first real job, not driving my moms car, going out on weekends, getting in trouble, eating whatever the hell I want and sleeping in.

Oooh, another fun thread where we can talk about ourselves!

1.  I hate talking about myself and have a bad habit of deflecting any and all personal questions (except on IHD where I get to hide behind a computer screen).
2.  I am an only child, my father was an only child and my son is an only child.
3.  I do have a half-brother, but he has never lived with me, so I still consider myself an only child.
4.  My only child is autistic (although you all may already know that).
5.  My first job was selling cosmetics and fragrance at a large department store.  I loved that job because buying pretty things made people happy.
6.  My real job became brokering for reinsuring energy underwriters at Lloyd's of London.  I was the first woman and the first American on the company's broking floor.
7.  I taught myself cooking and gardening.
8.  It is very rare that I take anything personally, so I am fairly well protected against insults.
9.  I fear that the US is quickly becoming ungovernable.
10.It is becoming increasingly easy for me to drop people from my life, and this worries me.

1. I have 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters.
2. I was only 17 when I had my son but am thankful I had him when I was healthy. I couldn't go through what I am going through without him now.
3. 2 people offered to donate to me and no one followed through. (one being my oldest brother, he had a hard time losing the weight. I still love him!)
4. As excited as I am about getting a transplant, I am so afraid.
5. The first thing I am going to do after a transplant is jump in a pool or lake. (catheter...boo!)
6. Even though I am new to IHD, I am so happy I found a website with such amazing strong people.
7. My BF is going to propose but he doesn't know I know and I am going to say YES!
8. I got pregnant on D and had a mi scarrage...it was almost a breaking point for me but I some how made it through it.
9. Christmas is my favorite holiday
10. I thank God every day for being alive!

1. I've never gotten over losing my Dad, we were very close. He and I were so very similar. Complete comedians.
2. I'm always looking on the positive side, everything has a silver lining.
3. I don't like to be in the spot light, but I love to help other people shine in the spot light.
4. Counted cross stitch is my stress relief, however, I haven't worked on anything in a long time.  ???
5. I cry every single time I hear the Little Drummer Boy
6. My cooking is utterly atrocious. There just isn't anything to soften that one! My husband used to be a chef and still does the cooking. I can bake, make amazing cheesecakes and breads from scratch but cook....oh my!
7. I have a strong, unshakable belief in God. He has never let me fall on my face, nor will He.
8. I sing Christmas carols all year long. My coworkers will always remember that about me. Especially Jingle Bells. It's a good thing.  :2thumbsup;
9. After having a very, very stressful day at work, once I leave I have to play AC/DC's For Those About to Rock at top volume. It works every single time! After yelling along to that song, I am very calm and ready to handle anything!
10. Even though I am losing my job in a few months, I am looking at this job as a positive experience. I have loved doing what I am doing, the customers...all of it. There is a reason this has all happened, a new door will open.

Ten may be hard but I have so enjoyed reading about other people. So here goes.

1. My mother is 95 and my Dad died at 101.
2. I had two sisters, one past way with a brain tumor (miss her).
3. My other sister is a saint. Always looking out for my mother and me.
4. I am a cricket tragic.
5. I have met the queen.
6. Have more letters after my name than letters in my own name.
7. Used to be a Primary school Principal and loved every minute of it.
8. Have a buggered back caused by a very bad cricket bowling action in my younger days.
9. starting to struggle. Oh yeah, have a wonderful group of friends. One group of all ladies and another group of mates.
10. Finally, could not do without IHD.

07: Our dogs are our life.  We have a Newfoundland and a Saint Bernard.
08: I love winter in Ontario.  Its cold, clean, and no mosquitoes.
09: Favorite passtime, sitting outside by a big fire, and looking up at the night sky.
10: Favorite saying, "Measure the size of the man, by the size of the things that make him mad."

1. The smartest person I know is my 79 yr. old Dad. He can build houses, rebuild machinery where he worked(now retired) and can fish, and this is with a 3rd grade education.

2. Hardest job was bin loader on a plastic pigment extruder in a pigment factory and a assembly line technician for a laptop manufacturer, favorite job was assembling and testing microcomputer experiment kits and peripherals for electronics class at a community college.

3, Had to quit my job as call-in help desk technician for a electronic publishing company because of foot injury and esrd..

4. Trying to get missing pieces to a Lego RAS robotics kit.

5. Living in Chicago with all its corrupt politicians has caused me to become a conservative/Republican.

6. We own a 37.5 acre ranch and have goats, donkeys, horses, 1 sheep and of course chickens.

7. Trying to fix up a 63' Fordson Super Major tractor(Dad says its better than the new ones)

8. Wont play any boardgames because in Risk-armies will fall, Monopoly-there will be earthquakes, Chess or checkers-pieces will be thrown. I blame all of this on my older brother who cheated all the time when we were young.

9. My brothers and sisters say I'm an instigator(am I really!)

10. I never know much about kidney disease until I came to IHD.
