How is everybody doing? I hope your all doing well. I got called today for a kidney. I was #2 I went out had the blood work EKG and chest xray. They called me about 3 hrs later and informed me I wasn't getting it. The # 1 person was. I was a bit disappointed. but then i thought about it. I should be happy for that person. And I am. No more dialysis! Good for them! I'm not a bitter person in anyway. So I send all my hope and positive energy to them. I know I haven't been on here in quite awhile. But I had a little reminder from someone tonight. So here I am. Not that i don't want to post more. But I am very busy. I'm trying to get my Horse hauling business back up and running/ It's a slow process. But anyway. I guess I just moved to # 1 so look out world. Scott's gonna be back soon. LOL! Y'all take care. And remember...Never Weaken! If you see the sunrise tomorrow it's a good day!

Great post.  I am sorry you were number 2 but it is heart warming to hear your response to the situation. Your attitude  helps others who are waiting.  And when I see the sun rise tomorrow morning, I will think of you and know it is a good day.   Now, forward to number 1 position!    :2thumbsup;

As I have said before - once you get a call you KNOW you're in the pipeline - that something will come your way sooner than later!
I know it's disappointing but it's good to see that you can be joyful for someone else's good fortune!
And as we know it's a tragic day for a family that has lost a loved one, yet they supported the choice to donate organs. Special prayers for them today.
Good luck to you! :waving;

Nice hearing from you.  I was wondering where you'd gone.  I hope your kidney comes down the pipeline soon.

You're getting closer, so that's good news.  Hopefully, your time will come soon, and I love what you said about being happy for the person that got the kidney.  When you get yours, others will be happy for you, including all of us.

Thank you all so much! I really do have to say to Okarol. Your absolutely right. In all the excitement I did forget get about the family that lost a loved one. With out their decision to donate a lot of people we know wouldn't still be around. So yes very strong well wishes to the families. Of all that have lost including all of us here. You know life is such a gift that we really need to enjoy it. I know we all have bad days where we feel like we've been hit by a truck. And on some of those days we say wow this really sucks. But you know once again. Saw that sun!!!! For me it seems to make things better.  So lets keep fighting away. Some of us will win this and some won't. Not trying to be brutal but honest. So lets all kick butt and Never Weaken!!!!

Oh and the sunrise this morning was beautiful!!!! As they all should be.

I find your attitude inspiring!  Good for you!  #1 is a good thing!  Don't be a stranger to IHD any longer!  Now you HAVE to check in with us regularly so we'll know if you got another call and a new kidney!!!   Here's hoping!    :beer1;

 Your attitude helps all of us and reminds us to be grateful for each day.  Even the bad ones.  There is always one little thing to be grateful for---some days are much harder than others to find a bright spot.  But you remind us that the sun always comes up.  Thanks!   :cuddle;
