I wanted to reply last night/early this morning after getting bounced from chat, but then lost internet connection.
I'm sure this one is a match for you, but at the same time it is sad that a person somewhere close to your location has passed away. Just try to not think about that and work on healing and enjoying life.
Good Luck Wallyz

Hopefully, not hearing anything is good news. All our thoughts and prayers are with you and the donors family

The ying and yang effect or Catch 22 on the donor. I take it by the information given that the person is on life support, yet you want them to hurry up and die, but at the sametime you do not wish for that or want that. It is frustrating that they make you wait so long. Hopefuly your transplant will go without a hitch and that the donor passes peacefully.

Just got pushed back again. I wonder if they jumped the gun, getting verbal but not signed consent, and now they are having to cover themselves.

Wallyz, something to remember is the kidneys are the last thing to be harvested. Len waited from 2:30am Thursday to almost 1:00pm Friday for the kidney to arrive. If it is the right one for you then it will happen. Please know we are thinking about you and the donor family.

They're not sending you home, so that sounds like a good sign. Hopefully the wait will bring you to a happy ending.
