WOO HOO NEW KIDNEY PEEING !!!(Transplant 23/10/07)

« on: August 25, 2006, 04:19:58 AM »

Live in Melbourne, Australia and Yeah winter is nearly over, we don't get snow in Melbourne have to go to our snowfields about two hours a way.

So it doesn't get that cold here but I hate winter, to me it is so depressing.

But walking around now you see all the trees starting to blossom and the days getting a bit more sunnier and warmer.

I absolutely love Spring and Summer, Summer especially I love the heat.

So what's your favourite Season?

Here in Florida it's pretty much Oppressive Summer or February.   :(

But when we lived in Baltimore, there were actual seasons and they were all great.  Overall though, I liked spring.  Sun was out but it was comfortable, cherry trees were blooming, it was amazing.

In the midwest there are really only 2 seasons winter and summer, spring and fall don't seem to exist.  Unless you want to count construction season a a season too.  I can't say I care for either of our 2 extremes, I miss when I lived elsewhere and had spring and fall.  Both of those transitional season are my favorites.

I love Fall, when it is getting cold and the leaves start changing colors,   i love Winter cuz it is cold and you can cuddle with a loved one or a blanket and a good book by the fire (or in my case a heater) :P   I love Spring when it is still a little bit chilly, enough to wear a thin sweater with some flip flops but still be comfortable and especially seeing all the flowers bloom,  ahhhh, the simple pleasures in life  :) :) :)

Autumn, simply because its the time of year I was born..LOL j/k. I like fall because of all the colors of the trees here in western PA. The Maples seem to have the brightest yellows and reds. Ill have to get out there this year and take some pictures, then post a couple for all to enjoy.

Autumn is the prettiest time of the year here in WI. I love the smell of the fallen leaves. Opportunity for a fresh start.

As you probably know, we have only one climatic season really - summer all year round.  But, in temperate countries, my favourite season is winter.  I LOVE IT.  Have never experienced a Canadian winter, just France, England and New York.  But I love it.  Bring on the snow, bring on the cold.  I am here right now, 9.00 p.m. sweating!!

Anything but winter -- would love to have a villa in Key West, or anywhere in the Carribean.

I love temps in the 70' (F) and low humidity but wait, that's not really a season and we definitely don't get enough of those types of days where I live.  I'd say spring and fall are my favorite seasons.  I love the smell of newly mown grass since it's such an indicator that winter is finally over.  And I'll probably get some flack, but I do love the smell of burning leaves.  Most of the towns and cities in our area have banned burning but we live out in the country so it's still allowed.  Oh, and in fall you can have a bonfire...roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, yummo!

Same here.  I love to smell the flowers after being stuck indoors all winter.  And in the summer, nothing better then taking a nice ride to the park on the motorcycle.

I like Spring and Summer but I also love the fall leaves when they change. Here Winter is here but no snow yet :P I hate the cold. My mom loves winter best because she loves the snow .. but she has a nice warm car and I don't :(

I don't like how humid the summers get where I live though but I love summy days. Weather where you don't need a coat. I love cool breezes. I love spring how everything is new and fresh!

Wabbit season! Duck season! For the happy few...   ;D

I'd also have to say everything except winter. The cold makes me lethargic, unless there's a bunch of snow to go with it, which rarely occurs around here...

I remember the Canadian falls and winters in my youth though (did I mention I grew up in Canada?) and I can recall how beautiful they both were.

I like the spring because it begins to warm up after the long, cold winter months.  I like the summer the most because I don't like to be cold but sometimes, it gets to hot, even for me.  ::)  Fall season is not to bad.  Still warm enough to get out and enjoy the weather but winter just plain sucks.  I don't like the ice and snow.

Spring.  Every day starts a little earlier and ends a little later as the sun shifts.  The robins come back.  I get to find out which of my flower bulbs made though the winter without becoming a squirrel's midwinter snack.  Even if it does snow, I know it won't stay long.  Everything makes it look easy to be green.

Spring, definitely.  I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, which means I'm pretty much totally depressed in Winter; I use full spectrum lights and Prozac to take the edge off, but doom & gloom  pretty much hang over my head all Winter, and my energy disappears.  So in Spring, when the weather turns nicer, and the flowers and trees show life again, and the days, Thank God, get longer, life starts looking good again, and I go back to the younger-smarter-funnier-nicer me!
