Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: September 21, 2005, 10:52:46 PM »

I have been recently diagnosed with chronic kidney failure.  I am a 55 year young female school teacher with diabetes and hypertension.  I got my fistula put in two days ago.   My father died of kidney failure at 89 (he was never dialysed.  In my home country they don't put 'old' people on dialysis).  My brother was on dialysis from age 51 to 61 and died from a heart attack last November.
I was just doing a search to find out about uremic symptoms which I don't have as yet, and I came upon Nephron, didn't find much action but found out about this message board.  The truth is, I just want the truth.  That I can handle.  I am hoping that you guys will be able to help me.
I am a Christian and this has helped me handle a new and difficult situation.

Isn't it funny how much longer the new introduction threads  are, than they were when we all joined. What better proof of success. Welcome Aurora to IHD... :rofl;
