To the members of I hate Dialysis, I bid you all salutations and good tidings. I worked for a national chain for all of my 20 + years and I wish this forum had been available while I was there. Currently myself and two other lifer techs have gotten together and work for ourselves promoting education, quality training, and seminars for staffing to try and use our knowledge to a good end.

I am not unlike some of the folks here in that I have seen the good and the very bad in the clinics and I hope I can make a difference.

Well, thanks a bunch and I enjoy good banter myself. I will check into the employees area and see what is up in there, but my heart was always with the patients. When time and experience placed me into a position that required that I looked after the facilitiy and the $$ over the patients, I knew it was time to go.
thanks for the warm welcome.

Thank you much for the welcome. I believe I have been called for what I (we) do and it is our belief that we can provide the proper education and make a difference. If we can get one more person to realize what is really important ( the lives we touch ) then we have done our jobs....

Welcome to the site Terry, Great to see you have found our place, to have a rant a laugh or just a moan about dialysis. Plus try to help patients/carers who are not to sure what is happening to them, plus hopefully give advise from our own vast  experience of dialysis.

The more I read from you folks, the more I am reminded of 'Callahans place' by Spider Robinson.
