Rockefeller tree and the cops I pay to protect it??

Kinda good news.
The tree to be placed at Rockefelller Center this year is about 2 miles from my house.  It is in the back of a flower shop called TreeKing.  In Hamilton Twp.  Kinda cool right.

For the last week and a half there has been a policeman stationed across the street from the tree 24/7.     WTF...

We have people breaking into homes, shooting people, gangs running rampant, drug dealers selling crack, pedophiles, rapist  ECT ECT ECT>
and MY TAXES are paying to protect a tree that has been there for likley over 50 years and they are about to kill it in a day or two.........

PROTECTING A TREE  i wish i were making this up.  I really do  :-(

Ps.  last year we were voted the as one of the 10 safest places in AMERICA.  Is the tree in danger?
