Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: November 09, 2008, 02:52:26 AM »

At dialysis on Friday, they finally told me what will happen concerning the operation on my graft ( to reroute the section which has a little aneurysm).  I am to have blood works on Monday.  I will enter the hospital from Tuesday evening and the operation will be on Wednesday.  I do covet your caring thoughts and prayers.  This will be a first for this surgeon, as the vascular surgeon only comes here monthly and he said that he does not want me to wait until he returns.  He assures me that she has been working with him for two years and he is confident that she can do it.
The way I have come to look at it is that someone has to be her first!!
I know without a doubt that my IHD family will be with me all the way.  :grouphug;

Sending prayers on Wednesday just to let you know I'm thinking about you, but you won't need them because your going to do just fine.

Right now the doctor is probably going over & over the procedure in their mind. That's a good thing.

Bajanne, I will be thinking of you and praying for you come surgery day. We all will  :grouphug;
Make the dr. give you some good drugs to help you sleep the night before because you know no one sleeps well in the hospital. I wonder if that has anything to do with staff coming in to take your vital signs at all hours of the night?!!   :sarcasm;
Oh and BTW,  :secret; you CAN ask them not to take vitals during the night if you are stable and it isn't medically necessary.
