It is very distressing when people stop posting.  :grouphug;

I just spoke to Ohio Buckeye's friend Sue. She said they had to take OB's other leg. First below the knee in October, but when it didn't heal they had to do another surgery mid thigh. OB is in a nursing home and undergoing rehab. She is doing better and Sue is optimistic. If you recall, it was about a year ago when OB had her other leg removed and Sue was caring for her for months at her home. They decided this time she would need more care and it would be beneficial to learn the rehab as she was able. Sue said OB had a nice birthday on Dec. 2 - her friends and sister brought her cake and gifts. She also is happy to deliver any cards sent to OB from forum members, so if you would like to get her address please PM me.
