Well Karol with the tshirt I must explain a little. The weather in Sydney was... well... not the best and so I was rugged up for most of the day but I *had* to wear IHD to a IHD meet!!! So I got (partially) undressed... I think Russell was a tad nervous when I started taking my clothes off with all those hot women around!! LOL hehehe (just kidding!!) I have to say the jumper(sweater for you northern types!) was back on after the pics though!!! :) And to think we're less than a week away from summer....!!

hey everyone still no internet sneaking on Russell's work one so i have to be quick it was son great to meet up with Richard on Sunday hes very sweet and of course Amanda and Cindy  creatine is still going up and down it went back up  to 151 on Monday down to 148 today i have tomorrow off clinic but have to be back Thursday, my tacrolmus(prograf) levels have been abit high so they dropped that down to 4.5mg twice aday I'm also on cellept 500mg twice aday and they have dropped prednisone to 17.5mg once a day so hopefully that will all settle soon . I have the stent out on the 18th Dec . Walking more each day and feeling great except I'm still carrying 5 kilos of fluid as you can see from my fat face in the photos !! Looking forward to Friday Cindy is picking me up to take me to her hairdressers for a colour and cut it will be good to get out for a few hours she has been so good to me i have been very spoiled between her and Amanda and her family. Thanks again for all your good wishes  :flower;

Update time its been 5 months since my transplant everything is still settling in still having weekly blood tests as my creatine and Tac levels are still up and down but getting better . I had an ultrasound of the kidney in DEC and it showed a fast blood flow from my artery to the kidney artery  so i had to have another one in Feb and it showed that it had gotton worse which could mean the kidney artery was narrowing , they have finally decided to do something about it and i go back to Sydney on Sunday so i can be admitted to hospital on Monday morning , my paper work arrived this morning and this is what is says I'm booked in for Angiography- Renal + DYNA CT _/ Angioplasty. From what i have been told they will do a ct anniogram to see what the problem is and then they will decide how to fix it depending on what they find, i know i will have to have the contrast dye which i really don't want but there is no other way to see whats going on . On the Sunday i have pick up some medication that i have to take in orange juice (its supposed to taste fowl) that is meant to protect the kidney from the contrast they will also put me on a IV drip to help flush the stuff out quicker . SO i will be off the internet for a few days they don't know how long i will have to stay in hospital , hoping to be back home Wednesday, i'm feeling very nervous but i want this fixed as decreased blood flow to the kidney isn't good for it either .I will keep you posted when i get home xx

Hi Charee, I am sorry you are having to go through this.  I'll keep saying prayers for you.   I want you to know that at our Kidney Walk on Saturday, our team will be wearing purple ribbons with the names of members we have lost and green ribbons with our members with transplants.  You name is on one and will be worn proudly that day.  Sending you love and hugs    :cuddle;
