Thanks Lucinda.  Charee, I'm sending hugs and strong healing thoughts to you and all your body bits that need to go home ASAP.  I'm so sorry this is such a bumpy road and I do hope it smoothes out very very soon.

Good news on the creat and specially that she is feeling better.

Do not worry.. that little kidney will see me come through the door to visit and will cower and co-operate or suffer the consequences!!! Yes.. if it doesn't want to play ball then I'll just stay until it does!!!! :)

Well Lucinda will be there also (she's taking me!!!! :) ) so we will both represent IHD.. and I will take my camera too :)

I thought it would be nice to fly up and wish Charee well and show some IHD support. :) And besides Lucinda kept promising to come down here for dinner but hasn't made it for ages, so I guess it's up to me to get up there!!! :) Besides, she did come down last year so i guess that's fair isn't it? :)

I will wear my IHD tshirt....

Hi everyone.  I saw Cheree today and she is feeling much better and she looks terrific.  Her creatinine seems to have stabilised.  RichardM is coming up from Melbourne on Sunday to see her and Amanda might be coming over to see everyone as well.  Cheree's Mum and Dad are also coming for the weekend and my hubby is coming over to see Cheree as well - more to keep her hubby company!!!  Russell has been a terrific support for Cheree.  He is a great bloke. Cheree asked me to thank everyone for their thoughts and best wishes and she should be able to get on line early next week. xx

Well, we all met up yesterday.  I picked Richard up from the airport and we went over to see Cheree and Russell.  Cheree looked terrific and she is feeling much better.  Amanda joined us for about an hour.  She is absolutely gorgeous!!  We had a terrific afternoon and Rich took pics so I am sure he will post them.  I haven't spoken to Richard since I dropped him back at the airport but he had to make a run for it because the traffic was horrendous and he was late getting there.  Hope he made his flight!!  xx

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in writing. I got home last night and was a bit tired and then had an unwanted visitor, so I couldn't transfer the pics off my camera or post :( I will do so tonight hopefully.

I just wanted to say I had a really great afternoon with Lucinda, Charee, Russell & the lovely Amanda (and I hope her iphone is OK today! :) ). What a lovely group of people! We met up at Charee&Russell's apartment block and went to a local pub just down the road and sat for a few hours drinking (well, they did :) ) and having a great chinwag. It was even better when Amanada finally found her way to the place and joined us for a chat and telling us all about her upcoming holiday!! How exciting!! She looks absolutely fabulous, and actually agreed to be in the pictures which was super nice. Charee & Russell are such a lovely couple talking about their trials & tribulations through dialysis and of course transplant.. and willing to talk about it with me even though I'm sure they're totally sick and tired of talking about transplants!! So thank you so much to them.

Also thanks to Lucinda for picking me up and dropping me back right in time (luckily the plane was delayed 10 minutes, so I got out of the car, walked through security, down to the gate and right when I arrived they called boarding - perfect!!! :) ). Even the dinner on the flight home (mongolian lamb) was pretty nice (that's a positive for QANTAS :) ).

I will post the pictures later tonight :) Thanks again to Russell & Charee for agreeing to come and spend a few hours....:D
