We just got one and I've been trying to do 15 minutes in the morning and evening - is this enough to start making a difference, or does it have to be like an hour each time?

I know it doesn't have to be an hour each time.  I think 15 twice a day is great, but maybe 20 would be even better.

Just build you time up slowly. What you feel is right. Start at 15 mins after a few times try 20 mins and keep going like that. I do not have a treadmill. I walk for 20 mins then 30 mins and so on.

I use a stationary bicycle, instead of a treadmill.

My goal is 40 minutes 5-6 times a week ... my minimum is 20 minutes.  Sometimes I'm just not into it.  I may only do it 3x/wk    :(          I started with 10 minutes and worked myself up gradually.

I think twice a day is awesome!  Keep it up!
