yep, made by the same people who make Ensure. It's a high protein drink designed for people on dialysis. I get it through my dietition for half price. It's a little bit thick so the kahlua improves the consistency. I wouldn't recommend adding the kahlua for diabetics due to the caffeine and sugar content.

But it makes Nepro taste sooo much better and easier to drink! Haven't tried it with Vodka though :rofl;
I get easily burnt out drinking Nepro or any of the other Ensure type drinks and a kick would be a good thing.

Most dietitians have a sample or two around. Mine gives me order forms for half price ( about $45 dollars for a case of 24). If memory serves me correct, a can has about 16 grams of protein. I prefer the vanilla but it also comes in butter pecan and berry flavors. It's like a thick shake.

Actually Flip had the biopsy. Have another drink Bill. :rofl; :rofl;

Hope it went well Flip. I went in for a kidney biopsy and came out with a staph infection in my leg and FSGS.

Thanks Box for doing such a fine job.  :bow;

This might be a very dumb question but i need to ask. I haven't had a drink since starting dialysis 1 yr. ago. If i got drunk, would i stay drunk until my next dialysis.

So, did my neph. tell me this because he is against drinking? Or because it is true? Please explain, because i would like to have a few drinks here and there, but I'm afraid to do it because my wife is afraid to needle me.

I still drink a little and my neph has no objections. I don't have any other medical problems like diabetis that would create a problem. Alcohol is metabolized by the liver and not the kidneys.

In case anyone is interested......one of the primary ingredients in Nepro is taurine, just like my Red Bull. I'm working on a new drink with Red Bull and Cuervo Black...calling it Red & Black. What do you think?
