Lola,
I hope you are able to transfer to a better transplant facility with better care and doctors. I hope something good happens with a lawyer.

Lola, I just posted a link to a book chapter on another thread.  You might find it useful.  It discusses peri-transplant fluid buildup and how it is diagnosed and treated.  It's towards the end of the chapter.  :cuddle;

Otto went today to meet with a second surgeon and he's going in to have a "window" made in the pocket that has not closed and keeps filling with fluid. Otto got to see the CT and this thing is HUGE it takes up the entire left side of his stomach and has pushed everything to the right side. No wonder he's miserable, I csn't get on IHD from the Hospital :stressed; xoxoxox  :grouphug;

 :bandance; :bandance; Things went better then planned, Otto even got to come home a little bit ago. They put a window in the pocket the size of a baseball, he will have the drain in for a few weeks. The docs wanted to keep him overnight because his labs were bad and then do Dialysis tonight but Otto begged them to let him do it at home so they said yes :bandance; :bandance; Thanks once again for the support :grouphug; :grouphug;
