As some of you may know or may not know i was trying to get a kidney walk started  and i just got word that we have been approved for the walk it's been a long time coming and to my suprise it was done and wanted by mostly patients and it fun to include the patients in these things and thanks to everyone who gave me the hope and inspired me to keep on going and to not give up YOU ALL ARE PART OF THIS ALSO CAUSE IF YOU ALL DIDN'T GIVE UP ON ME AND IT MADE ME NOT GIVE UP ON MYSELF OR ON MY MISSION THANK YOU ALL  :bow; THANKS FOR KEEPING ME FOCUSED  :2thumbsup;

Pyelonephritis (began at 8 mos old)
Home haemo 1980-1985 (self-cannulated with 15 gauge sharps)
Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges
