Thanks for all of your input, but what do you think about de-teething a cat?? lol, her teeth are worse than her friggin nails, lol,  she loves to be petted but once i stop, OMG, talk about chomping down, yikes,  and now, she is kneeding me on my chest so i have little scratches there too, oh Lord, i am being mutilated by my baby kitty, and it is only the second day, lol,  Right now she is behind me playing in all my supply boxes, taking time to drink some water and back to playing in the boxes,  ohhh she is such a joy, how can i have lived so long without her?   aye yi yi, pinche gato!!!   :D

You gotta treat her just like a mama cat would - kitten bites mama and gets slapped up side the head - gentle but firm little tap.
Our cat woody would bite and I would blow air at him, or kind of mew "owww owww owww" and he would stop and stare at me. Love those babies!

Goofynina, my grandchildren have 2 cats that are inside only.  They got their nails covered with plastic covers, does look like nail polish and may be what Hawkeye suggested, I don't know.
My daughter also has those plastic covers on her cat's claw's. They both walk around with pretty purple claws. They took some getting used to for them but now they don't seem to even notice them.

Both of these sound like the claw covers I linked to my post.  Even got some testimonials right here that they work.

Some more ideas for names for your kitty:
Genie - because she's bringing magic into your life
Ami   - the French word for "friend"

And my favorite:  APRIL because you and she began your life together in April!  It's girlish but not sappy, and not too formal or too silly.

JoePaul, Babie is so cute, bet my cat can whoop her butt!! lol, j/k.  I only say that cuz my cat can whoop my butt  :P ::)

Since from the sounds of it your kitten is a little lovely terror a tigers name seems rather fitting.

Xena is a great name. My sister named her German Shepherd dog Xena.  It works for your cat.

How cool that your cat's picture was in the paper, and Xena seems like a very appropriate name.  She sounds like a warrior from all you have said and you will treat her like a princess.
