WOO HOO NEW KIDNEY PEEING !!!(Transplant 23/10/07)

« Reply #25 on: August 16, 2006, 04:25:32 AM »

I Have three Chooks (Only New So Better Start Laying To Pay Their Way!) and my Adorable Boy Woofa.

Woofa is always there for me on Dialysis, once I'm hooked up my Partner Allan brings him in for me.

So now that I'm on nocturnal Woofa gets to do what he loves best, Sleep!

No the Beagle only eats the Chooks.

Seriously, one day Allan (my partner) had the chooks out in the Garden so they can just have a bit of fun and dig for worms and stuff and Woofa, ( The Beagle) was inside.

It was getting late so I thought I would feed Woofa his tea so I put him out and fed him (it was getting dark by this time so I thought Allan  had put the chooks away.)

and then I went back inside and started to make our tea.

A couple of minutes later I looked up and there is Woofa biting a chook in the neck but not hard he was only a pup at the time, and I think he was playing with it. But the chook lived and

got better, and every time Woofa walked passed their fence they used to peck him so I think they got revenge.

The Chooks have their own fenced off area so I think they are safe from Woofa the Chicken eating Beagle.

BIIIG doggie. Nice doggie.  He looks like he could rip the hubcap off the nearest car easily! Maybe even a tire.  Nice doggie.

The first one is of my cat Squeaky who is watching the drain line from my Baxter machine.  Squeaky is just fascinated and periodically stares at it all night waiting for it to drain.  The second picture is one of Spot with her head stuck in the yogurt container.

You are lucky  your cat doesn't chew your line. The cat I have now .. that was a major problem that I didn't know I would have since I got Emms (orange brown white cat I posted earlier) after I already started the Cycler.

Peaches is my lil ShihTzu. She is 9 years old. My best friend at times. Once when I had bottomed out with my blood sugar and went into a coma she woke my son's dog and the two of them went to my sons bedroom and woke Mitch and my daughter in law Jan they came into my room and found me. My heroes! She often wakes me at night. I believe she spends half the night checking on me. My lil gardian angel. They know when we feel bad. When I am ill she will not leave my side.  :angel; Sassy

What a little wonder-dog!   One of my dogs will stay in bed with me and I've used her for warmth when I was sick (she's almost 70 pounds, so she puts out a lot of heat!) LOL

Here are my babies... And as I sit in this hospital room I sure miss them both!  I tried to talk my husband into bringing my baby puppy "Pixie" to me.  I said that she would make me feel better and no one could argue with that.  But then he pointed out that she would bark at everyone coming down the hall and try to bite anyone who tried to take blood at 3 am.  I'm not sure if he was trying to encourage me or detour me, but more and more this is sounding like a good idea  >:D  The baby kitty "Kitty" is also very loving and protective.  She always sleeps on my chest and/or head to keep me warm   :)

My cat is absolutely nuts today.  She is Siamese so that explains about 90% if the craziness already.  Today she chased our other cat around for an hour tormenting him.  He outweighs her by about 12 pounds so I don't know why he just doesn't whack her a good one or sit on her.   The Siamese weighs about six pounds and the other cat weighs at around 18 pounds.   I threw a box down on the den floor and Ming, the Siamese is now playing in it and sitting in it like it is her personal kingdom.  I am putting a pic of her in the box.  She is completely losing her mind.  Nevermind our third cat, a grey one, finds socks on the floor and meows like she has lost her best friend. She even took socks out of laundry basket the other day and told us we had to put them away.  *sigh*  I have a madhouse around here!

I love this thread! We have two cats: Mena-12 pound princess and Jasper-18 pounder who is scared of everything but treats. Mena is a Siberian and Jasper is a humane society kitty that the vet believes is part Maine Coon. We take more pictures of them than us. On Monday we are adding a third (yes, that does make us one of "those people") and are naming him Oscar...I will post some pics of him soon.

Everyone's pets are soooo cute.  I have a 10 year old cat named Winston.  He is a total lap cat.  Anytime I am not feeling well he will snuggle up to me and stay by my side.  He's my buddy!
