Auggie the Wonder Dog, pooped in my bed, between the sheets, yet.  Fortunately I have a large bed and it was on his side.  Close call.  At the time I wondered why he was snuggling.  His side smelled bad.

I'm going to teach that mutt how to flush.

My son Roddy McSleepy at 6 months! sry pic sidewz

« Reply #1854 on: April 13, 2012, 07:54:56 AM »

We have three cats, and are catsitting  for friends who were deployed to Afghanistan for 11 months.

Our oldest is six, named Puar. A Nebelung cat (pretty gray cat with long hair).  She's very sweet and gentle, very shy.. My husband brought her home as our first dating anniversary present.. A sweetie!

The second is a big black tom cat with random "gray" hairs on his head and chest (I love his little hairs).  He weighs 17 pounds and was a stray that my father-in-law's employee found in a vacant lot while on a job.  I fell in love with the tiny, thin little thing, he was only 8 weeks old.  His name is Ravage, after the Transformer that comes out of Soundwave's chest (one of the tape cassettes).. He's four, and a bit whiny and territorial.  He's very snuggly.

The baby is Twix, she is about nine months old.  My husband brought her home the week after memorial day.  He meant to adopt a dog, but the one he wanted was taken, so he wandered over to the kittens  :Kit n Stik;
I was laying in bed, sick after work, and he called and asked, "if I bring a Twix home, will you want it?''. I said yes, of course.  He brought in a humane society box and I was soooo mad!  I had just spent $800 in vet bills, etc., that summer for the other two cats!  He offered to return her, but I said no, we don't return living beings.  She is a very feisty Tortoiseshell and very loyal to me.  I love her so much!  She is tiny (though now a bit fat with a tiny head) and nearly fearless, and has  taken over the house. She's like an orange tiger-stripe and black cat swirled together, and has one "peanut-butter" paw.  Her face is very striking and her nose is speckled.

Atticus is probably 7 or 8, and looks like  a jersey cow but gray spots. He bit me  three days into his stay, and I  had to get a shot in the butt and antibiotics.  My hand looked sort of like a boxing glove.  He's a jerk to my cats but sucks up to me now.  I can't post pics from my dumb touchpad, but they are all the cutest babies ever!

Awww, they're beautiful jb.

My Mog-cat has been missing since Sunday morning. The not knowing (has he been hit by a car, is he stuck in someone's garage ...) what's happened to him is killing me.

When our Bootus went missing, he was gone for almost two weeks, thought he was a goner, showed up under a deck 3 doors up.  After that he lost his ability to meow, guess he spent the two weeks crying...lesson learned, he never tried to sneak out the house after that...

So, hopefully all have seen the pictures of my bud Wilie.  Now this picture, some may disagree that these are pets, so go ahead disagree, I am very okay with that.  So...without further ado, Please meet Hobie (cardinal fish lower left), Oreo (black and white clownfish, center swimming up) and Red, (Flame Angel), picking up a Wrasse Saturday, I hope...

Poppy, any word on Mog?

I think fish are pets, too.  I had one that used to ignore the food until I stuck a hand in the tank for him to rub up against.  Even my little guppies and the beta I have now react when I come near them.  I know it's because they are hoping for food, but it's still nice to see something happy to see you when you come by!

Nice salt-water fish conchman.

My dad breeds fish and sells at auction, just do not know the types of fish ( I do not go in the basement very much, hate the smell), but we use to have Oscars since I was a kid that were the only fish that would come close to being a pet. When we use to feed the goldfish, they would take it out of your hand. Now with  pellet food, they know when feeding time is and follow you and wait at the top of the tank with mouthes open. I just do not have much interest in fish these day's tho and we no longer have Oscars for the last two years.

Thanks Chris, My first tanks were freshwater, and I had an oscar too.  That little sucker would jump out of the water to be feed.  He was fun, when I started saltwater, he had to go...I think that was in the late 80's.  I like tanks (aquariums), helps keep my mind off the PKD...

Poppy, any word on Mog?
No, but thank you for asking ...  :(

We have an aquarium.  I consider them to be pets, but I think Dora-cat gets more enjoyment out of them than we do!  She'll sit and watch them and the bravest (a huge black Molly) will - seemingly deliberately - go and squish his face against the glass near her as if to say, Haha! You can't get me!
