The long haired variety make them look better to me. Haven't seen one in real life, but thinking if hair is right it may look like a even smaller collie than the sheltie from a distance.
Our newest pet, a 8 week old Chocolate lab that happens to have all his akc papers. He is a full blooded english bloodline lab for whatever that is worth. If so, then we got him for a steal of a price.
Her name is Noelle, since she was a Christmas present for me. She is jet black with green eyes and coming up on 3 years old. Although she is now fully grown, she can't weigh more than 5 or 6 lbs. It's like she just stopped growing one day. Kinda weird. D and I have come to terms with the fact that she may also be "special".
If my cat were human, I'd spend a lot of time washing her mouth out with soap. I just know half of what she yells at me is NOT polite.

Okay, silly question for all cat staff ... do your cats have different meows for signaling different needs? Or am I just loopy? It's got to the stage where I can tell if either of my cats a) wants feeding, b) wants to go outside, c) wants a cat treat, or d) is just saying hello and wanting a general chat about this and that. I'm pretty convinced that Mog also has a particular meow which he uses when he's wondering what on earth Dora is up to.I spend far too much time in the company of cats ... I suspect I need a life.
