I don't think you'd have much luck getting his apple, Richard... He LOVES his fruit... Think you'd have a better chance of getting my Vegemite, and that chance is slim to zero!...

Hope Celeste is well, and still ruling the household with an iron paw!...

Hi Twirl...

A dessert apple would be one of the sweeter, softer varieties of apple... As opposed to cookers, Granny Smiths, etc...

Can't help with your tea question... Can't stand the stuff!...

"Tea, Earl Grey Hot." <--- you would not add milk to (even though I do sometimes LOL)

iced tea you do NOT add milk to. It's a sweeter tea anyway(lots of sugar added).

I was always brought up to drink white tea, no sugar so it's a habit even though there are many cultures (eg: Russia) that do not. Indians have overly sweet tea with condensed milk in it (and then of course there's Chai).

but this has nothing to do with pets. Celeste does not drink milk. I give her water. she loves her water!!

"Tea, Earl Grey Hot."

Am I detecting a fellow Star Trek, The Next Generation fan, Richard???... Ooooh, that Jean Luke Picard... I'll stir his Earl Grey, ANYTIME!!!... :rofl;..

Dougal likes milk... Straight from the fridge, preferably... Prefers his hot tea, though... I needn't tell you, Mum makes that for him... I'll do many things for the mutt, but I draw the line at becoming his flipping tea lady!...  :rofl;

Love to Celeste...

Our male cat has to drink water out of a bottle and preferably yours! He likes bottle water over tap  ???, but if it is coming out of the faucet, he'll drink it. Everytime you get a water bottle or any plastic bottle, he'll come running and beg for a drink. Tell him to sit and he will, but best to give him some out of the bottle. I should add the another movie I took on my camera to YouTube to the other ones I posted.

Plus he loves egg nog

TMI!!! lol... yes yes we know you think he's hot. ha ha. Enjoyed the latest episode of Family Guy in the US where Stewie kidnapped the cast of TNG. It was hilarious!

Still can't quite get my head around the idea of a dog drinking tea.. specially HOT tea.. that's kind of weird.

I did cat sit for a friend some time ago and her cat drank water out of a glass. It was the cutest thing ever!! He would sit in front of a glass of water, dip his paw in, scoop up water and drink it off his paw. He loved doing that. My mother loved seeing it too.. it was like his party trick. Such a gorgeous little fellow of a feline.

Hmm Taking Celeste for her regular yearly inspection & cat flu injection on Saturday morning before D. Usually she is really good with the vet - she just sits there and takes the prodding and the needle in the back and all that. Last time though she did NOT want to come out of her carrier :(

Yeah for real, Kim, I agree!     :waving;   However, I am from the ole' south and I just prefer my tea, ICE COLD with LOTS of sugar as I sit here drinking some right now from McDonalds! (they have good sweet tea)     I have tried it "hot" but  :puke; it was not for me............but you probably think the same thing about drinking it COLD, huh?    ;)

I think because the US has always been traditionally a coffee-centric nation that decent tea (hot) has been pretty rare. Often I would be on flights on US airlines and be one of the only ones drinking tea in the cabin that I could see (ironically one of the best airline cuppas I've had was on Continental in the 90's.. but I digress). Iced tea is more of a fad item to me whereas hot tea is very traditional, certainly in parts of Asia, India and of course England and europe(but to a lesser extent).

I always have a cup of hot tea at dialysis. very refreshing half way through and refills me a bit.

now about "pawed people" - my vet calls my cat a "little person" - it's so cute!

Patton --- HELLO   :waving;

oh okarol, it is so sweet how cat's think they can fit into anything and they can manage it --
do not give up hope
I see all kinds of stories where pets have come back after years of being gone
- he may be back soon
maybe he has a buddy he's hangin' with
about 7 years ago Sad Sack had a collie she ran with --- they would disappear into the woods at the river-
the collie moved and we got Yogi and Sad Sack started staying home more
good luck to you
have you looked at photos from the internet from your local pound

How do I miss this stuff???

"Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" (with milk) but not for my cats. They have no interest in tea, they prefer their milk straight (and they have been known to watch Star Trek)

Here's some pics of Harry with friends:

They are so cute! I wish my kitten would become a fat lap cat. She's too busy bouncing off the walls and eating bugs right now.

Thanks MIbarra,

Harry weighs a little over 14 lbs, but he is very tall and long and can spread himself very thin. He's always been a mushy boy.

The other guy is Thurgood, about 12 lbs and petite. Harry and Thurgood just love each other. They are grooming each other in the "fuzzy" pics - not really fuzzy, the boys are just licking each other that fast.

Looks like Harry has some wild cat in him. Our cats don't seem that big when stretched out and they weigh the same as Hary.

Harry is loking good.
