Just to introduce myself i am a 41 year old male from the UK as my username suggests who has been a renal patient for 30 years + with 20 of them on dialysis - in between these years on dialysis I have been fortunate/unfortunate (depends on which way you look at it) to have had 4 transplants the last a live donor one which all failed.  I now have no chance of any other transplant unless medical science improves but hey I wont let that get me down  ;D

I have a lot to do with my local KPA as Secretary which keeps me busy and am an avid supporter of Huddersfield Town FC (soccer club to all you in the US!)

Over time i hope to get to see how things differ to the treatment received and differences on how it is delivered in the UK and hope to make friends with some of you.

drop me a line on Facebook if you want, great sire by the way  :beer1;

 :welcomesign;  We are glad you joined our merry group!  Four transplants!  You certainly have lots to share with us.  I will look forward to learning more about your journey.  Sounds like you have a great attitude and keep very busy.  Post often - we can learn much from you.

Glad you found us and please tell us more about your transplant experiences but in fact talk about anything you wish you'll find lots of love and support here and quite a few people from our side of the pond!   :ukflag;
