I have to say, I really didn't want anything to do with nocturnal, I was interested in the short hour frequent dialysis but I have been talked into the nocturnal so I am going to give it a try.

jay hubby was "iffy " about trying nocturnal as well. He had a few tough months at the beginning - just getting used to trusting the machine. He had many slepless nights!!! He even went back to short daily for a while but found that while all other bloodwork was almost the same phosphorus was much higher on short daily than nocturnal. Once he got used to nocturnal he really liked it. What type of machine will you be using Jay. We use Fresenius 2008H but will be getting a new machine in the next year or so because that model is discontinued and they are no longer making parts for it. Good luck. If you have any questions or anything don't hesitate to pm me!!!
