Kidney Walk Maine This Weeked

My daughter - as team leader - has registered her team on the National Kidney Foundation website to do some fund raising for our walk this coming weekend - October 24, 2010 in Portland Maine. There is no walk held in Vermont so I join my kidney donor, my daughter and her husband for the walk. They do a Halloween theme and encourage dogs to come dressed also.

This will be only our second year of doing this fundraising walk and we are hoping to make it a tradition. I will be forever humbled by my hero that chose to donate her kidney to me.

Anyone from southern Maine on the boards - they do on-site registration the day of the walk. Come and join in the fun if you are in the area.
