 :flower;

Okay so it's been quite a while since I have been on here so I thought I would re introduce myself. You guys can just call me V :) Earlier this year my mom was diagnosed with ESRD and well I'm 24 and well just getting out of college and getting this sprung on you is a very tough thing for both of us. My mom is my best friend!!! she's amazing actually and well to get this news really played havoc on both our emotions :( but now both of us are doing much better although lately I have been really needing an outlet.

Thanks guys for reading!

Welcome.
My children were 10 and 12 years old when I was diagnosed with ESRD.
Their ability to handle it depended a lot on my ability to handle it. Hopefully your Mom will get the support she needs from her medical team and family because if they make it easier for her, it will be easier for you too. These will be a good sight to educate yourself about ESRD. Good luck.

 :welcomesign;  maybe your mom will want to join too.  It's great that you two are so close.  Sometimes it's easier to deal with the tough stuff when there is someone to hug.
