Crap! Pulled an all nighter
«
on:
August 13, 2008, 03:35:54 AM »
Didn't mean to do this, but I didn't fall asleep yet. It's 5:30 am and alarm with be going off in 30 minutes.
I have sleeping pills and forget to take them. I don't put them in with my other pills, but do not want to take them 30 minutes earlier than my other meds at 9:30 pm. I have the technology to have multiple alarms, yet I don't set them for the sleeping pill. This is one night I am frustrated I haven't slept and won't be able to till after 6 pm.
This might turn out to be a crappy day and that's a bad thing.

Jenna does this all the time. Too bad we don't live closer. She still seems to fall into the "day-night reversal" that is common to dialysis patients, even with a transplant.
Hope you get some sleep Chris!

Little over an hour of sleep will have to do. Left cell phone on and people are calling. Then I just started to clean up the kitchen after going downstairs. Then idiots from Medicaid call. Wish they would learn how to read! Bad enough they are now just getting to my stuff I sent at the begining of July. At least I have only had to deal with 2 idiots so far today. Almost time for physical torture therapy

Chris, I have three words for you!
Meds, Meds, meds!
I pulled an all nighter at dialysis Wednesday. I had about two hours sleep and went to work anyway. I was lots of fun.

That sucks Chris
I can sympathize this happens to me frequently and I am usually pretty mad in the morning. I have been trying to get sleeping pills for the longest but my doc wont prescribe them for some reason. Try to make up for it with some extra sleep tonight!

Maybe try asking for an anti anxiety pill to help with the sleeplessness

I think the sleeping pills are based off that. I know it was posted in another thread because angela515 looked it up.

Lorazepam works for me, Chris. I sleep like a baby with no side effects in the morning when I wake up. Living alone, you don't want something that knocks you totally out. If the house catches on fire, I want to be the first to know.

I think I need something that does knock me out, I think to much when I try to sleep. When I was taking the sleeping pill (taking two) it did do that after ahile, but takes awhile. Where I live, I want to be knocked out so I can get some rest in order to get a break from the people I live with.
(but true)

This weekend I will attempt to take sleeping pills. Have pulled all niters this week for some reason. Didn't sleep till 3:30 pm today. Didn't go to bed due to have crap to due early in the am and had to get going at 6 am. Tomorrow I have to do the same.
Ear plug I can't stand. I have a bunch from school they gives us in testing rooms.
Starting to wonder if I have a fear of being addicted to these meds subconsciously.

Chris, thought about you during the night when I was up and not sleeping. I so envy those who fall asleep and never wake up until morning. Even with Ambien, I don't sleep through the night. I don't know how you get through classes with so little sleep! You are amazing!
