After meeting members, do you read their post and hear their voice as if the are talking? I have talked to Okarol briefly on a few occasions before, but never read her post like as if she was saying it. After the Chicago meeting though, I seem to read their post in the voices of the people I have met. Just noticed this as I am trying to catch up on reading post.

You definitely read the posts differently than before meeting the members. As for hearing voices? Chris buddy you need to go back to the Mental health center for a bit.  :rofl;

Before meeting face to face, you try to visualize what people look like.   Then you meet them and you see their humor, the intellect and feelings.  So, now I "see" Chris when he posts and "hear" his GPS telling us to turn right, turn around, turn left at the first opportunity! :rofl;    And I "hear" all the ringtones Chris gave Josh.    :rofl;

That would be a bad thing for me and I would need to go back to the mental health center. Karol would have a male voice arguing with the female voice of my GPS. :o :urcrazy;

Sorry my bad about the ringtones. Didn't expect to hear to hear them constantly. I should have bought him a bluetooth headset so he could listen privately :rofl;

I agree that we feel much closer after meeting in person. I really loved all the members I met in Chicago. I wish the meeting had lasted whole week. Love you guys.

Now as a mother, I should say "Chris, don't use your student loans for Vegas!".    But, as an IHD friend, I say "come on!".

Flip, I could have stayed a week too. It is hard to explain how comfortable everyone was. It was a very good time.

I am seriously comptimplating to going. Major hurdle is fear of unknown place and getting around. This is where I wish I had good eyesight, haven't traveled long distances since loosing sight and having visual impairments. And with Mandy, Mrs. GPS, I don't think it would be wise to take her out of the mental health center. She may want to argue with okarols phone again. :rofl;

My mom and I could go to Las Vegas..I just have to figure out a reason why I'd be going to a "microchip clinic" in Vegas.  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
And then maybe I could get my GPS fixed, change it to a male voice, and Chris' "Mandy" and mine could discuss the correct routes. We'd end up in Alaska.  :rofl;

Hmmm, I'll bring my Vet Tech books and some other medical books :rofl;  :rofl;
Mandy would say "I told you to turn left, why didn't you turn left,  make a u turn up at the road ahead in. 25 yards" and of course the other one won't listen, because he knows where he is going, he is turning to avoid traffic congestion. Maybe I should change the voice on mine to see what happens :rofl;

Ok, so what's the best way to search for good airline flight cost when the time comes? I still have to wait on the check to come. Forgot which carrier now charges to book flights over the phone or internet, it was in the news recently, but didn't think I was going anywhere either.

Well I always wanted to go to Alaska

"At the next legal opportunity make a U-turn"
"Please use the designated route!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Please use the designated route!!!!"
**sigh** Recalculating. :rofl;
My mom liked to make my GPS recalculate.  Apparently it got ticked off at doing that, because now if it DOES turn on it randomly shuts off half way to a destination.  It's almost as if it's saying "Fine then, you don't like my route, I won't show you a route at all!"
My mom says Alaska is nice, she's been there. :sir ken;
