I am headed to Milwaukee, WI on Thursday of this week.
The social worker finally got back to me with nocturnal dialysis (thank the Lord) planned for TTSun while I am there.  I should have a short run on Friday. I thought my center doc was going to blow a gasket when he came through and they were going to short run me on my vacation.He said "No,no,no,  This what I want them to do."  The first center would not run me five hours, so they went to another center that offered nocturnal in Milwaukee.  It pays to let people know what you need and want.

Okay, so I said all that to say, do not expect me to be on here very much over the next two weeks. I am going to make this a real vacation. Paris is graciously going to do moderating duties for both of us.

My youngest daughter is going to school in Milwaukee and seems to be planning to stay in the midwest for jobs.  We have plans to:
Go to Chicago on the weekend of the 27 and 28, I will meet up with Jess 21 on Saturday afternoon. I have no idea if Chris will be up to a meeting. He is supposed to call me. We will go to the Sears Tower and then to the History Museum. Then hit Chicagofest in the evening with one of Maria's friends.  I may be on Tylenol and speed by then.  :rofl; Wish me luck. Then Sunday off to Navy Pier and a cruise of the skyline, maybe a Segway tour. Then back to Milwaukee on the Megabus, then dialysis almost as soon as we return.
A George Strait concert Monday night the 29- I LOVE George Strait!
Tuesday the Domes in Milwaukee, maybe. Dialysis that night.
Wednesday night a concert at the Milwaukee Zoo.
I plan to go see Sluff and Christy if they will have us?? Maybe a tour of the area near where you all live? Or somewhere else?
I want to see the Boxman, too. Maybe Sluff will part with a phone number?  :bow;

We are going to see stuff Maria has not seen before in Milwaukee.
I want to do a brewery tour. I am not telling the dietician about that one!
I will rent a car and we will find our way around the city and the state.
I will stand on the shores of Lake Michigan and wave across the lake to JBeany!
The fourth of July we will see the fireworks by Lake Michigan. My daughter says that is the best fireworks she has ever seen.
I fly back the 9th of July. I plan to collapse at that point until July 24 when I have to be back at school prepping my classroom!

I am going to make this a real vacation.

SCHOOL IS OUT KIDDOS!!!

Do you have a photo sharing account?
I splurged on a GPS box for my car rental.
It was totally worth it. If you can work one
in, can save you minutes/hours looking for
an address in unknown territory.

How exciting!...hope to hear all about it.

 :secret;(don't forget birth control) :secret;

just kidding

Glad you are going to get the dialysis you need while on vacation. Have fun with what you have planned. I have my phone programmed to let me know to call you on Friday at 11 am, so if I can't see, all I have to do is press one button. Hopefully will be able to meet you in Chicago, but will get more instructions from doc post surgery after a visit on Thursday.
