one year on home hemo

Yesterday (July 23), we celebrated Marvin's "one year" home hemo anniversary. We started our training exactly one year ago yesterday. It's been a good year, all things considered. Marvin has had a lot more trips/stays at the hospital in the last year, but it didn't have anything to do with his home hemo (pacemaker, MRSA, etc.). We think we made a GREAT move last year switching to home hemo.

Good milestone you two. It is nice not having to leave home to dialyze and somehow the time always went faster for me when I was at home with my own stuff.
Your setup sounds very comfortable.
Continued success Petey and Marvin.

My one year at home on NxStage is Aug 3. It's been so much better at home than going to center!
