Keith I don't want to sound nit picking but do you have to use textspeak on posts? I can understand it for cell phone text messages but surely it's simple enough to write in standard English with a full alpha keyboard in front of you.

In the UK it's Grenitch Mean Time in winter and British Summer Time in summer months. We are usually five hours ahead of Eastern US states.

So don't u think dat I'm able to come here and enjoy myself just like everyone else and not to sound like a smart a-- but some of da things and words dat i say r by way of my families native tongue and if u can't understand dat din to each der own and I hope and pray dat dis doesn't make u dis like me and if it does din  cause if de way dat someone rites  writes upsets or offends u din  to u but if ur a real man NO if ur a real HUMAN BEING  and I'm sorry 4 me  .But to sum it all up I'm here to have fun,meet new friends,learn new things and most IMPORTANTLY EDUCATE myself andothers dat come to MY support group that i started almost two(2) yrs ago b-4 i got my transplant and I'm still involved in and that we got da NKF involved and we have our 1st ever kidney walk in dover next year so plz don't judge me by how or wat i write get to try and understand me 1st then u may pass judgment on me but in all reality ur opinion doesn't mean a thing to me only wat de administration has da final say on what and how i write ( but de final choice is still mine but i respect de administration here on IHD and as i said b-4 da  administration has de final say) so u do wat ever u want to do me going to b me like me or hate me... Life ain't Life wit out Me........... U Heard Me !!!!!!!!!!!!  Now  Run-Tel-Dat

I'm sorry to have upset you. I didn't mean to. I did not realize you were writing in your native dialect. I assumed you were just using text speak which when used by people who normally speak standard English in English speaking nations does annoy me. I too am here to have fun  and be educated in all things kidney related and I wouldn't seek to denigh you or anyone else for that matter the means to express yourself in which ever way you choose.

I just believe that the only correct way to express ourselves fully and accurately is to use language to an agreed and acceptable standard  that  is understandable by all.

If I wrote my posts in my native Lancastrian dialect most people on this forum wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about. And no I don't judge you as a person for writing this way, if that's the way you normally write, although I do find it hard to read,  I will try harder because I am interested in your posts and your views it's just I wish they were easier to read.
