I have Alport's Syndrome. My kidneys failed when I was 14 and I was on PD for five years before receiving a kidney transplant from my mother. That kidney failed in 2004 and I've been back on PD ever since. I am undergoing treatment for my high antibodies at Cedars-Sinai medical center. I had a kidney transplant on June 10, 2008. My boyfriend was the donor.

Glad that you are home and on the mend.  I hope that every day gets better and better, and the worst is over.

Wow, you are really having a tough time right now. Your body is going through so much trying to fight off infections. You must be exhausted.
I hope things get better soon. Hang in there.

I lost 10lbs from this ordeal, I am slowly getting my appetite back, which I look at as learning to eat portion control... so its going good. I am eating so all is well. I am waiting for my Procrit shots to be approved, so i'm tired alot but pushing through it due to having to take care of my kids.

Thanks everyone.  :grouphug;
