Story on Sarah's clinic and the future expansion of it

An article in the local paper about the unit my wife goes to. Unfortunately some of the information the patient gives is incorrect ( the clinic isn't as bad as she makes it out to be) it was nice to see some attention brought to dialysis in our area since all the attention usually goes to the cancer research and treatment facility.

Thanks for sharing. The statement that people don't want to give up an unhealthy lifestyle I didn't like.
I think most people with kidney disease work very hard to comply with restrictions.
Many people live very healthy lifestyles and find out they have kidney disease.

Don't worry about that quote; the person that made that statement isn't held in the highest regard around the clinic by the patients, families, or the actual clinic staff and you can see why with a public statement like that. Also  since as a management/administrative nurse she doesn't isn't that in touch with the people and staff. Much of the staff were irritated by the fact that the local media didn't come into the clinic and ask for more first-hand information, but were happy to have the focus of their hard work and dedication finally acknowledged by the community.

I also like first hand information. A paper pusher can say what they like, but the people in the trenches know more.
