NIghtmares

The news story of the Austrian man who kept his daughter in the cellar for 24 years, with 3 children who never saw sunlight gave me nightmares.  I am very claustophobic, although I have tried to get rid of it, and the thought of it was on my mind all night.  So many horror stories are in this planet of ours!  Especially where sexual abberations like pedophilia and incest are concerned. 
Looking forward to the new earth where righteousness will dwell!

Bajanne2000, I think we'll eventually get there. Im not sure if it will be in my lifetime though.
(i keep getting flashbacks of star trek and other movies where there is no form of currency in the future. which would indicate a less materialistic society and more internal.)

The more I hear of that story the more evil it gets. How could a father do that? Where was the mother, why didn't she suspect something when her husband kept turning up with children (he took 4 or 5 of them to live upstairs), why didn't she search for her daughter..................so many questions.  I read that the children have never seen the daylight, can't talk properly or stand straight ........ unimaginable and WHY? When I see the video of him in Thailand I want to throw something at the TV...sorry I'll stop now, but this makes me so angry (as you can tell )

I also have claustrophobia and the idea of being held captive like those kids makes me nuts!
There's a special place in hell for monsters like that guy who selfishly ruined the lives of his entire family.

From what I understand he was a very authoritative man - 'a despot.  I hated him' said a sister-in-law.  It seems he said that he had government work to do in the cellar (he was an engineer) and his wife was not even allowed to bring coffee down for him.  He also made the daughter write a note that she had left for a cult.  Then as he took each of the children he adopted, a note would come with them 'from Elizabeth' saying she could not take care of the child, and those children were legally adopted.  An evil man!  I understand that the wife is now in psychiatric help as well.
Another thing is, there was a girl who was found dead some years ago, near a lake where this man and his wife had a home.  The authorities say that this girl had an uncanny resemblance to his daughter.  He was also convicted for some kind of sexual abuse in the 60's, but the court records are expunged after a period of time.  there should be no period of time for sexual offences.
And I hear he might get 15 years!  If I was the judge I would give him 24 years, then 19, 18, and 5 for the years those spent in the cellar. And he would spend it in a tiny room.
This is bringing out my vengeful side!!
Kit, bring your stick and let's go to Austria!!

This story just made me sick and mad..    How could a father do that to his daughter?  This man doesn't deserve a death sentance, he should literally have his genitals removed and let the daughter at him.

What a sick piece of work and a poor excuse of a person.  He will go to prison but he will not make it out.  What would make someone do those things, ha had to think all this crap up somehow.
