I got the results back from my latest labs and they were fantastic. When I started PD my function was at 10% now it's at 20%. My doctor says if it gets up to 25% I can stop dialysis again.
I will only be doing 1 exchange a day. I will fill before bed and drain in the morning.

I am so excited I want to scream  :yahoo;

I have Alport's Syndrome. My kidneys failed when I was 14 and I was on PD for five years before receiving a kidney transplant from my mother. That kidney failed in 2004 and I've been back on PD ever since. I am undergoing treatment for my high antibodies at Cedars-Sinai medical center. I had a kidney transplant on June 10, 2008. My boyfriend was the donor.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but just the thought of no more dialysis is incredible.

kimcanada, I was on Hemo for about 9 months in 2001.
